Inside Kent magazine have included one of my images in their June issue as part of their Artists Showcase.
It’s very exciting to see my hand dyed wall pieces getting interest outside of the quilting community 🙂
This piece titled “wayfair”, was inspired by the development of Ashford as a stepping stone between London and Europe. The international train station, the pedestrianization of the ringroad and artists installations in the shared space, have all been pulling together as a creative base ready for the town to expand over the coming years. Unfortunately the economic recovery is slow, but the town is poised ready in anticipation.
I must go and get myself a copy so I can read the other articles properly over a cuppa!
