Tote Bag Project – Popular Patchwork Bag Special 2012

I couldn’t resist this “pole dancing chickens” fabric by David Textiles from the V&A collection (The original design is from 1953).

I picked out some of the colours from it and created a patchwork flying geese panel to add around the top. The tote is featured in Popular Patchwork Bags Special 2012 and the paper foundation for the geese panel is included.
