Baby Quilt

Thomas Knauer kindly donated this fabric from his Savanna Bop collection, it’s such fun! The Metro Mod Quilters of NYC are busy creating baby quilts for charity so I’ve used a sew and slash method to whip up a quick quilt that shows the fabric off.  The inserted strips from Pat Stone were useful for the binding as well, I’m just finishing that off today.Image

November 2012

I’ve just heard that this will be given to a family in New Jersey who have been affected by hurricane Sandy. So glad it was ready to go with 200 others to where it can be used right now.
