Upcycled Cushion Cover

Starting with a mans shirt that got a little too small ( don’t say I said that 🙂 ) and adding a few choice charity shop finds, I’ve spent a few hours playing and come up with a new cushion cover. The button stand of the shirt became the opening at the back and the back of the shirt became the front base layer with tray cloth, lace and doilies applied inspired by Dottie Angel. I just have to make five more for an eclectic set (as the shirts become available).

I’ve enhanced the image so you can see the shirt, it’s all a little more subtle in the flesh. This is the back

Thanks, I’ve just made a second one with more hand stitching detail.
