Colour Fix

I opened up my new box of threads for today’s colour fix. These gorgeous Mettler silk finish threads are 100% cotton and are perfect for my patchwork. They came free with my Juki, not something I would have thought to indulge in for myself but so exciting to own! Simple pleasures – I didn’t use any of them, just looked and closed the box for another day!

Mandy – they are beautiful. Will one of those greens work on the Rescue Quilt?

There is one that’s pretty close, well spotted! I’ll see if I can get a waxed hand quilting thread today at City Quilter. I got the calico backing washed yesterday and the top trimmed behind ready to layer up. It’s about time I got on with it and now the winter is here it will be cosy to be hand quilting!
