Ric Rac Hearts

HeartRicRac

There’s a new yarn shop just opened in Tenterden called Hoop, that stocks lovely ribbon and Ric Rac (as well as lovely yarn). I couldn’t resist the duck egg blue and paired it with some of Margos shirting fabric to make these hanging hearts. The “tree that stayed” has been dusted off ready for Christmas and these sit quite nicely with the colour scheme in the lounge – so maybe they can stay as well, through the holidays. Must now get to the other tree!

As a kid I was fascinated by Rik-rak. Will definately look out for that shop in Tenterden. Many thanks for the tip!

It’s wonderful stuff, I seem to have accumulated a bit of a stash of it! Have you found the little gift shop near Waitrose that stocks Cath Kidston and has little cookie cutters and such? – very you!
