Homemade with Love Issue 3

HWL3CoverMay2013    HangOut andSew copy

If you were at the Knitting and Stitching Show in March, you may have seen this hanging off of my trolley!  – Yes, I think sometimes I am 🙂  The instructions are included in this latest issue of Homemade with Love. That trolley seemed such an exciting idea to show off my wares, hang my bunting, use as a base for teaching supplies and kits and it did look lovely. Getting it to and from Olympia on the underground was more difficult than I expected though and pushing it on it’s little wobbly castors loaded up with baskets, past bus loads of quilters was hilarious! Fun times!

Anyway, the hanging is easy and if you happen to have a few vintage buttons to hand it’s even easier as you don’t need to fiddle with the centre of the letters! – what a cheat! I will hang this in my lounge and hope everyone gets the message!

Homemade with Love magazine is on sale now in WHSmith.

The workshops were kindly sponsored by Newcastle fabrics so I made the hanging from fabrics from across various ranges including:- Florence Peto, Styl Mod, Emma, Divers and Margos Favorite shirtings.
