stitching, quilting, fabric, projects
There’s been so many wonderful quilts and projects to see this week, I thought I’d share some of the pics with you. I’ve been doing lots of teaching, catching up with previous students and helping many more get started on their own journey into patchwork as a new hobby.
We started with some mug hugs, coffee and banana cake, thank you!
Everyone impressed me with their projects in the finishing class. Jane finished her caddy, the colours are beautiful, sorry this photo doesn’t do it justice. She also made great progress with her Vodka Jellies blocks which I forgot to photograph.
Ilse had finished her Townscape including some applique balloons and a lovely little cat in the window.
Tansy wasn’t far off finishing hers.
We had our lunch in the Gardens at Godinton House and enjoyed the colours of the Delphiniums, Irises, Water Lilies and Wisteria.
Laila got started on her house at The Sewing Space in Hythe, she is not shy with her colours either!
Pam, Faye and Laila all made beachhuts
Ilse brought along her Mariners Compass for a discussion on background colours.
And these beautiful blocks are a selection from some absolute beginners taking their first brave steps.
I took so many photos I couldn’t show them all so I’m sorry if I’ve missed yours. Thank you all for a lovely week.
Happy Patchworking, hope to see you all again soon!
