Homemade with Love Magazine

Homemade with Love Magazine Issue 4 is out in the UK now, exclusively at W H Smiths. These lovely lights are featured inside.

The cover has a plushie by Amy Adams on the front and I have a little project inside, a hanging organizer made from Oakshott and Newcastle Styl Mod cottons in rusts and greens.

The organizer has been shown with the ribbon hanging option, this is the coat hanger option.  The top can be folded over the hanger and stitched down on the machine for a more sturdy version. Because the fabric is interfaced it will also take the weight of pins/brooches pushed through, including my various membership badges, Quilt Alliance, Metro Mod etc. Good for display and also so I can find them when I need them!

I use wooden pegs to clips things on and customize it but the magazine shows a much prettier version with yoyo’s – you’d better take a look! Those of you in the US will have to wait a few more weeks before you can see it in Barnes and Noble!

Great idea! I’ll have to visit B&N soon to pick up a copy!
