Dazzling Blue

It’s official – the new Pantone colour for spring 2014 is……

Which looks very similar to…..

Klein Blue

International Klein Blue which we all love, don’t we?

The good news is, if you can wear black, you can wear this – and it’s a bit more exciting!

Bring on the new quilting fabrics, threads, yarns…………! We can never have enough zingy blues 🙂

I don’t know that I could pull this color of…it does look very refreshing though!

Imagine it with white in the spring. You do look good in teal though, so maybe it’s not for you.

Really like this colour – I’d never heard of Pantone colours though so I’ve learnt something new!

Pantone is a good reference for colour checking, used in printing. Jade was the “in” colour last year but I didn’t see it much in clothing. I’d love to see some quilting fabrics in this, you don’t see that many really strong blues.

Regarding Jade, a bright green is becoming very popular here.

You’re right–it’ll look great with white, very nautical!

You know how excited I am to see blue!! Of course, I’d wear blue anyway, but nice to have it confirmed that blue is the lead color!
