Such a lovely week, meeting new people passionate about stitching and catching up with regulars back for more, bringing their creations.

Liz had already completed her Integrated Squares quilt, I love her colour scheme and the zingy binding

What a lovely bright, tidy shop! Haven’t found one here yet and have to get fabric online. At least I am now ‘patching’ again and loving it. Workshop picture brings happy memories.

Maybe you need to visit Kent in July and join us! I’ll be posting more workshop dates soon and will be teaching at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in August – a great place to stock up 🙂

This looks great. It reminds me of the patchwork ‘class’ I used to attend when I lived in the U.K. which was held in the fabric section of a local shop. I say ‘class’ because, although we had a teacher with us, it was mostly a sewing bee type atmosphere and being surrounded by all the fabric was inspirational (and sometimes expensive!!)
Sorry I didn’t get to see you at the Knitting & Stitching Exhibition at Olympia. I was there but the workshops looked so busy I didn’t like to interrupt to say hello. Did you enjoy it?

Glad you made it, sorry I missed the chance to say hi. It was fun, hope you managed to grab a few goodies to take back.
