Spring in the Garden

We’ve just had a glorious weekend, the sun was shining and the weather warm. Added bonus – it was Mothers Day so I got to spend all day pottering around enjoying being outside.

I’m sure this Clematis wasn’t out yesterday.

It looks a whole lot better with the lawn mowed and the Sycamore seedlings chopped but there’s a lot of moss to sort out.

Is this going to be a good year for Greengages?

The Rosemary needs taming but I’ll enjoy the flowers first.

This hummingbird moth was enjoying the sunshine too!

My new lantern was put to full use into the evening as we gathered around the barbeque and the fire basket, a little taste of the summer to come 🙂

Happy Mothers Day!

Everything looks so fabulous! Makes me kind of envious but it also gives me hope that we’ll see spring eventually. Enjoy!

So glad you had a lovely time. You are well ahead of Rhode Island, although since I’m currently in the Bahamas, not sure I care right now!!
