Knitting in public

Did you know that it’s Worldwide Knitting in Public day tomorrow. I’ve got some lovely pale Blue Raspberry Koolaid dyed wool ready to go and my vintage needles – I just need a pattern arghhhhh!

I’ll be knitting on the train so a small project that uses about 100g would do the trick, I just can’t decide what to start. The event runs all week so I have time but I’m itching to start something new, on the train, tomorrow!

Knitting in Public

A beret?……A bag?…….ooooooh, how about an owl?!!!!

I’m off to print out this free pattern by Ana Clerc but any other suggestions are welcome…. I’m even thinking I might get a jump on the Big Knit for October 🙂

(For anyone in NYC there is an event in Bryant Park with Knitty City and there are other events on the website).

does this mean we aren’t supposed to knit in public the rest of the year? Ut-oh….

I’d love to see your yarn, I have some socks made with yarn I dyed using blue Rasperry koolaid, but I made it a variegated skein, and I maybe should redye them…

Haha, you haven’t been arrested yet then?! I didn’t post a pic of the wool because I forgot my adapter for the charger, doh! Your socks sound lovely, you should be able to redye them as long as you’re careful not to felt them.
