Hexie Bar

There is a bar in NYC with a beautiful, black and white, hexie tiled floor.

In the ladies loo, I spotted that the tiler had run out and improvised.

Back in the bar, closer inspection under the tables and chairs….

the tiler was having some fun!

Hidden in out of the way places around the bar, I wonder if the owner/commissioner noticed. I like to think maybe only patchworkers and tilers would! πŸ™‚

Love spotting little things like that! I imagine the tiler was seeing hexagons dance before his eyes and thought he’d shake things up a bit!

….and if tilers can do it, patchworkers can too!

I love that floor. And, loved the expression on the other customers as you were photographing the floor1
