Another evening with Jo Blox

We are supposed to be a quilt group you know!

More and more crochet is sneaking into our creative evenings………

These gorgeous circles are by Becky

At least Elaine is doing Hexies 🙂

And so is Belinda – just a few! She’s using Liberty Lawns for these double rosettes.

Teresa is starting some more embroidery from “Doodle Stitching ‘the motif collection’ by Aimee Ray”.

Nicky has been getting on with her Nancy Nicholson embroidery, a pressi her boys bought her from Emporia.

And Steph has been QUILTING!

Two quilts for the twins 🙂

To make sure we had everything covered, we invited Penny and she brought her knitting. Such fun evenings, chatting and stitching over the odd glass of wine. I’m looking forward to more evenings like this to get us through the winter!

Our Quilt Bee is just like that … we have a couple of quilters that bring their knitting when they have no handwork! You just gave me a great idea for a blog post! 🙂

It’s all an amazing feast of colour, but oh my goodness, Penny’s knitting! I love, love her WIP. Is it from a pattern?

I know! – she’s making it up as she goes along. It’s Kaffe inspired, she’s one clever cookie!

I love that your quilt group doesn’t just quilt. It seems to me that this variety of textile crafts does so much more in the way of inspiration and a sort of cross pollination of ideas!
