More tiled floors NYC

Am I getting a bit obsessed?

FootballFloor

It’s the geometrics that get me!

You can find inspiration anywhere, right?

And I have a thing for manhole covers too, hehe.

Maybe I should file this under “Confessions of a quilter”?

Now for something more sensible, while we’re on a black and white theme. I’ve just finished crocheting this simple cowl

BlackCowl

which pretty much used up two balls of James C. Brett Merino from my stash 🙂

It must be Cheerful Choosday x

This reminds me of the calendar they have made in the U.K. for 2015 – the Dull Men’s Club Calendar. Apparently, one of the featured ‘dull men’ spots interesting drain covers for a hobby. One man’s interest is another man’s ‘dull’!

Haha, I had a look, it’s right up my street! – ‘We wanted to have a bit of fun. The British are well known for being eccentric…………and the Roundabout Appreciation Society……..”………. – Eccentric? – that’s going a bit far don’t you think?! 🙂

It all started in a bar, didn’t it? Bathrooms are good places, too.
