stitching, quilting, fabric, projects
One of us was celebrating a big birthday last weekend, a very good reason to book a quilting retreat don’t you think!
Thanks go to Belinda for organizing a fantastic venue in Broadstairs, with space for seven sewing machines, two irons and a beautiful view.
We did get out a little to explore the lovely old town, the wool shop and the haberdashery.
There were also some new shops, I’ve never seen a Vape Bar before.
It rained – a lot, so we mostly stayed in and stitched 🙂
Lots of cutting out was done, there was fabric everywhere – yay!
Lots of stitching was done, the machines got a good workout.
There was much laughter 🙂
New quilt tops were started and some blocks were stitched together.

There was also a little knitting, crochet and hand stitching going on in the evenings – oh, and the odd glass of wine 🙂
A few projects were finished!

Pressies were gifted,
including our sneaky group quilt – SURPRISE!
Happy Birthday, thanks for sharing it!
Such a fun weekend, such lovely friends 🙂
