Books and Stitching

Loving my new book by Becky Adams, a treasure found at Ray Stitch in Islington. It’s just a little book with a vintage feel and loads of nostalgia.

Becky was artist in residence at Ruthin Craft Centre in 2009 and the book was co-published by them and Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre in 2010. There’s lots of lovely pages of collected objects, postcards, lace and buttons. She plays with phrases, embroiders, embellishes and stitches. She tells stories about birds and teacups, remembering time with her grandmother. It’s just beautiful.
