Zingy Slouchy Bag

ThreadZingySlouchyBag

What’s not to love about these fantastic bright basics from Timeless Treasures. They were left over from the Shutter Quilt I made for their blog at the end of last year.

They pull me in and say “play with me, I’ll make you happy” and with this cold, wintery spell upon us, it seems the best way to bring on Spring šŸ™‚

So holed up warm inside, I decided a new Slouchy Bag was in order.

With accent fabrics chosen and cut, it didn’t take long to make up.

A little top stitching and a few covered buttons – hey presto!

It just needs a good press and it’s ready for an outing šŸ™‚

So when the temperatures get above freezing and my snow boots have been put away I’m ready!

This Slouchy Bag pattern MMM-101 is available from QuiltWoman.com and also as a downloadable epattern.

Fabrics used:

Kiwi and Iris Sketch, Papaya and Petal Hatch, Tomato Pin Dot and Aqua Dot, all from Timeless Treasures.

What a beautiful bag! That would cheer anyone up. Nicely done, too.
