Cushions on the Cover

Two cushions, one cover!

My cushions made the cover of the May issue of Popular Patchwork magazine which goes on sale tomorrow, April 2nd 🙂

The Petal Template by EZ Quilting  made these cushions quick and easy to cut and sew. You may recognize the bright fabrics and dots from Timeless Treasures and a background print, Architextures by Carolyn Friedlander. I hand appliqued the motifs and handquilted in contrasting perle thread before adding a few more echoes of machine quilting. A carefully selected vintage button sewn in the centre just finished them off.
