Barn Sale – oh my!

Well, I should have taken more pictures, this was a feast of a sale, I could have poked around here for a week!

Unfortunately, most of the lovely wooden cots, wheels, ladders and benches were too big for my handbag

but I had to have this! – well, really wanted this but nowhere to put it right now  😦

So we came away with these, his and hers, lovely books and a bell for my shed. They did fit in my handbag 🙂

He’s playing tennis! – looking at the racquet tree, this must have been a tennis playing family!

It even had the glass inserts around the lights Kerry. Would have been great for a bar in the back garden! 🙂

  4. Oh, I love old books! Anything old with a history in fact 🙂 x

You’d have loved it then Sharon, there was a wooden cot from the 18oo’s, maybe earlier and some sleigh bells, I’d have loved to have got the story on those!

Not sure if you watch Drew Pritchard on Salvage Hunters when you are in UK (Quest – bit of a blokey channel), but he would love snouting around that sale. He has an antiques show room in Wales, but also sells in Liberty.
