Secret Sewing

It’s that time of year in the quilt industry, where everyone is frantically making samples. Fingers are crossed that advance yardage of soon to be launched gorgeousness arrives in time and projects can be completed ready to be shipped to Market. The industry only Quilt Market, takes place the week before International Festival of Quilts in Houston, at the end of October. New patterns are being married up with new prints and no one can show you any of it, yet!

Me, I’m finished (she said smugly) but I still have my magazine commitments and I can’t show you those either.

So instead I have an image of my Tiffanys thread box for you.

SewingBoxmm

I’m sewing in ends again today and enjoying the chaos of colour in this little box . Maybe I’ll get around to tidying it up next week.

🙂

It’s been a very exciting month, so much to show you, lots of quilts on the go all at the same time. Unfortunately not going to Houston this year as I’m flying to the UK!

Those Tiffanys boxes are just the right size for a good sewing box! Sounds like you’ve been busy and happy!
