The Neighbourhood

We’ve just had a lovely weekend with some good friends visiting for the first time. The leaves are just changing colour and the weather is cooler, good reasons for a little walk around the neighbourhood. I took my camera so I can share some pictures with you.

(Morning Glory still going strong)

(the end of the season in the Community Garden)

(don’t know what these are. They look ears of wheat).

There is nothing like showing people around to freshen tired eyes, there are 4, I’d only ever seen 3 before!

I’ve walked past this amazing sculpture all summer, we finally stopped to take a picture. I imagine this is a tribute to the children or even grandchildren?

(just a nice sign)

(strategically placed bench)

(Sundown on the edge of the marsh)

Hope you’ve had a good weekend

Nice walk. That’s a great sculpture and I do like the strategically placed seat on the pier!!

Lovely photos. The bench looks much newer – and more sturdy – than the jetty!

I think that plant is mullein, AKA verbascum. Such a lovely walk!
