My Garden

It’s been frosty here in Kent the last few days. The temperatures have plummeted all of a sudden and caught the plants out, they thought it was spring already.

The crocus seem to be fine and enjoyed the sunshine when it warmed up a bit this morning.

The Hellebores just bow their heads.

The Daffs really went too soon, I may just cut these and bring them inside, I don’t think they will stand up again.

The Snowdrops are only just out, they know it’s January.

The Rhubarb is just showing off, I hope it doesn’t succumb to the cold!

The weeds are making a great start. Have I really got to be weeding in January?

Beautiful photographs. Really bought a touch of spring into my life today.

Oh, those poor plants–they will have a rough go of it, I think!
