stitching, quilting, fabric, projects

This week I’ve been busy teaching patchwork again. The number of wonderful combinations of colours and prints never cease to amaze me. Whether they are newly purchased fabric or existing stash, everyone chooses differently and they join together into the most marvelous creations #Ilovepatchwork !

We were treated to two finished projects at The Sewing Space in Hythe.

Jill was an absolute beginner a few weeks ago and has used her jazzy blocks to make a cheery pair of cushions.

Liz has been working away on her Townscapes quilt and was kind enough to bring it in to show us before gifting it.

There’s some funky blinds at those windows. I love the fire station and the little Scotty dogs at the door.

In the Modern Seminole workshop we auditioned fabric and played with proportion.

Liz had fun fussy cutting dogs.

Deirdre made Dashwoods Suffolk print come alive.

Jill added some Jade to her stash.

I can’t wait to see these finished!
