Enjoying My Garden

It’s been a beautiful day here today, no rain or hail, so I did a little weeding and took a few pics of the garden.

Spring is coming!

pompomflowers

These double buttons looked cheery against the blue sky.

bluebells

The Bluebells are out early.

polyanthers

These are just out today

tulips

as are the Queen of the Night tulips.

flauntingrhubarb,

And this is called “flaunting my rhubarb”. It just loves this spot next to the recycle bin. I see another crumble happening very soon, it will be our third this year already.

You may have seen on Instagram, I also cut our first asparagus spear today. We shared it raw on a salad, it was DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to be out there sowing some seeds and really making the most of the garden this summer 🙂

There’s quite a lot of work to do reclaiming it, so glad the weather is gradually improving and we can get out there at last. Thanks Chris
