Lock and Latch Quilt Kit

Over the summer I was delighted to be asked to design a quilt for Oakshott Fabrics. They were keen to have something unusual, in my style. After thinking long and hard about what my style is (you might have noticed I have quite eclectic tastes), I decided on a minimal colour scheme with split backgrounds and a motif I’ve been playing around with recently. Looking at their beautiful fabrics and having a sneek preview of their soft, New Scandinavian collection (very exciting), I selected and fine tuned down to this.

The darker Lipari colours added perfect contrast.

A kit including the pattern and fabric is now available on their website. Click here to find out more!

Looks like a piece of modern art – and I mean that as a compliment 😉 I love that dark purple and pink together.

Why thank you kind lady 🙂 There are so many great combinations to choose from. That pink (Oslo) is so delicate, the purple (Galina) has a black thread through it, yum!
