Colours of 2017

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful festive season with family and lots of creative time too.

Its time for me to take a look at trends for 2017, something I usually do around now, just to get a handle on what is likely to pop up in the world of fabric and interiors.

Pantone announced their colour of the year in December, they have called it GRENERY

Described as a

“yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring.”

Take a look at their website for more info. https://www.pantone.com/color-of-the-year-2017

Kona have announced their colour of the year as “Pink Flamingo”.

Take a look at their range of solids (which is vast)! at www.robertkaufman.com/fabrics/kona_cotton

I assume this particular shade of fabric will already be in production so I may be able to see it in the flesh at QuiltCon in February.

It seems I already have a little colour scheme going on here  🙂

Getting just a little excited!!!

I’ve found a few lovely quilt shops near us in Florida, and the are right on trend! So wish I could drive up to meet you in Savannah.
