Spring Vines

The new look Popular Patchwork magazine is out! (April issue)

I’m very excited to see my Spring Vines Quilt on the cover, it looks good on the grey background don’t you think?

Such amazing fabrics designed by Alison Glass, they were a joy to work with. The zingy colours just happened to match a box of Aurifil thread I’ve had for a while, QuiltingHeart by Pat Bravo.

What are the chances of that!

I hope your Spring is springing. Hang on in there those of you on the East Coast of America, I’m sure it wont be long  X

Such vibrant colours! The grey certainly does allow them to shine. It must be wonderful to see your work featured like that.

Totally Springtime colors!!! It may be perpetually warm (relatively speaking) here, in south Texas, such welcome blooms are what I miss a lot. To truly appreciate the springing hope these signs represent one must endure(?!) the snow/cold of the previous season, don’t you think?? Just some random thoughts on my part……..
Your quilt is wonderful and the gray background is the perfect contrast………
