stitching, quilting, fabric, projects
I’ve just got back from an Oast Quilters afternoon in Canterbury. The speaker today was Gail Lawther and she had brought lots of her lovely Stained Glass quilts to show us. Have a look at her website here ……………..
We always have a few traders visiting and I was delighted to find some gorgeous fat quarters (for my stash) on the Crafty Mastermind stall http://www.thecraftymastermind.co.uk
Elusive Cotton and Steel, Cloud 9, Lotta and a pink book fabric that unfortunately isn’t with selvedge winked at me, so I treated myself 🙂
So exciting to find these fabrics that aren’t easily available in the UK!
The show and tell had lots of fun, small quilts for Project Linus and to my surprise a beautiful bright, Shutter Quilt made by Linda Pearce. She had added a zingy border which worked brilliantly.
(thanks for sharing Linda)!
You can find my post with the original here http://wp.me/p2tTFZ-Dh
There’s nothing like an afternoon of fabric shopping, quilts and catching up with friends 🙂
