Flying North Quilt

For November issue of Popular Patchwork magazine, I designed  this cozy lap quilt with some flying geese blocks. Watching out of the window, I can see that familiar “V” formation almost daily now it’s getting chilly here. Obviously the birds are flying south to warmer climes but these geese are flying towards Lapland!

The fabrics are Petites Maisons De Noel by French General and I added in some modern Bella Solids also from Moda.

The quilt is a quick make, ideal as a gift – you’ve still got time to make one! 🙂

November issue is in the shops in the Uk now!
