stitching, quilting, fabric, projects
Well I hope you’re enjoying this amazingly warm summer! I’ve just finished quilting and binding two quilts for publications in the Autumn and it was not the most comfortable of tasks. It’s been a constant thirty five degrees here in Kent!
I’m playing with small scraps now, a little slow hand stitching is good for the soul, especially under a shady tree in the garden.
Having decided to take a year out from teaching at Festival of Quilts (although I’m a little sad about it right now with all the images starting to come through), exciting plans are shaping up for some fun patchwork workshops for when the weather gets cooler.
The Little Shop of Fabrics in Headcorn have a fabulous barn in Smarden, with a super sewing space where I’ve been invited to teach 🙂
