Framed Ninepatch BPQ and Autumn Workshops

Back in February, I bumped into Karen Lewis (of Blueberry Park fame) at QuiltCon. She let slip that she was working on a new collection for Robert Kaufman and asked if I’d like some.

Well, what’s a girl to do?

When I saw “Wayside” my brain started to whir and this is happened πŸ™‚ – thanks Karen!

I love the simplicity of the colour scheme and the exciting prints, and although bling is not usually my thing, the subtle addition of the metallics makes this collection pretty special.

The pattern and nicer pictures of the quilt are in British Patchwork and Quilting magazine, August issue which is just arriving with subscribers now and will be in the shops on 19th July.

Edit: I’ve just seen their Facebook post and it looks like its on the cover, yay! – always exciting! πŸ™‚

Festival of Quilts is just around the corner and I’ll be there teaching a Kasbah Star workshop (there’s just a few places left). Use code WT71 for a discount on your advance entry tickets.
