I’ve been knitting!
This fabulous pattern was designed by my friend Nicky Triggs, specially for a little community project that’s coming up this summer.
Two Tone was a Mirror Carp that lived in our local Conningbrook lake. He became famous all over the world because of his size and unmistakable colour. He was the biggest freshwater fish in the UK at 67lb 140z and apparently took some catching!
Nicky cleverly designed this pattern using the Two Tone knitting technique with multiple strands of different colours. The pattern is available from Emporia Fabric and Craft in Ashford, she also designed a beginners 2D version.
I’ll be posting more about this project over the summer but if anyone knows anyone that has caught this crafty fish, I’d love to hear some tales!
